Hey! So I’m finally back from San Diego. Here’s a buncha pictures I took since the 4th of july, and I’ll do my best to describe what’s going on in the ones that need an explanation

Zack throwing a frisbee directly at the camera in a park near our house

Banana bread that I had to mix in a plastic bag because we didn't have a bowl big enough
Aubrey at Seaport Village (Veronica’s mom also known as Martini Mama, who we stayed with for a few days after moving out of our San Diego house, brought us here for the day
)

After staying with Martini Mama for a few days we drove back up to Portland and the rest of my pictures are from there. This is a purty finch that was inside a huge birdcage at Flutter (a thrift store)
Walking around the area that Flutter was in we decided to randomly go into this store called Paxton Gate, not really knowing what it was. What we found inside was a ton of framed insects, animal skulls, carnivorous plants, and taxidermy animals. It was probably one of the coolest stores I’ve ever been to

It only costs 60 bucks to hang a bat on your wall! IT ONLY COSTS 60 BUCKS TO HANG A BAT ON YOUR WALL.

I wanted this beetle so bad. I could've afforded it too, but I really just don't need a beetle. Nobody needs a beetle.

We went to a restaurant called Tasty n Sons and everything there was amazing! Dis here is some Panna Cotta

Cookin up some BBQs at the Sterling household

I discovered that I can unhinge my jaw

Zack's little niece, Maya!

This might look like a normal picture of toast, but this is actually Dave’s Killer Bread, the best bread I have ever tasted.

Zack reflecting on his childhood at Powell’s Books

Zack's Mom and Aunt made us an authentic Filipino dinner! The eggrolls are called Lumpia, and the noodles are called Pancit
A hummus pizza (warm flatbread, hummus, spinach, feta, and tomatoes) I got at Paradox Cafe
That’s all the pictures! I seriously can’t believe it’s already been an entire month. I can’t believe we actually did it and I can’t believe I’m sitting in my room right now. I didn’t miss new york. I probably could’ve just not come home and stayed with the dudes for good and I would’ve been just fine. This was an important step towards actually living together so even though I couldn’t stay, I’m glad that it happened. I learned a lot on this trip, and the most important things I’ve gathered from it are:
1. I can absolutely live with Aubrey, Zack and Andrew without ruining our friendship or getting on each other’s nerves or anything nuts like that
2. It will be stressful but I think I can handle living on my own
3. I don’t really care where it is, as long as it’s with these people.
