This is how I feel/probably look today. In the Butt House I’d wake up every day at 9:30 and get to working on my costume junk. I couldn’t IMAGINE spending an entire day in San Diego on the internets.
And now that I’m home I kinda wanna curl into a ball and melt into my bedsheets, in a gross and not cute relaxing way.
Hey! So I’m finally back from San Diego. Here’s a buncha pictures I took since the 4th of july, and I’ll do my best to describe what’s going on in the ones that need an explanation

After staying with Martini Mama for a few days we drove back up to Portland and the rest of my pictures are from there. This is a purty finch that was inside a huge birdcage at Flutter (a thrift store)
Walking around the area that Flutter was in we decided to randomly go into this store called Paxton Gate, not really knowing what it was. What we found inside was a ton of framed insects, animal skulls, carnivorous plants, and taxidermy animals. It was probably one of the coolest stores I’ve ever been to
It only costs 60 bucks to hang a bat on your wall! IT ONLY COSTS 60 BUCKS TO HANG A BAT ON YOUR WALL.
I wanted this beetle so bad. I could've afforded it too, but I really just don't need a beetle. Nobody needs a beetle.
We went to a restaurant called Tasty n Sons and everything there was amazing! Dis here is some Panna Cotta

That’s all the pictures! I seriously can’t believe it’s already been an entire month. I can’t believe we actually did it and I can’t believe I’m sitting in my room right now. I didn’t miss new york. I probably could’ve just not come home and stayed with the dudes for good and I would’ve been just fine. This was an important step towards actually living together so even though I couldn’t stay, I’m glad that it happened. I learned a lot on this trip, and the most important things I’ve gathered from it are:
1. I can absolutely live with Aubrey, Zack and Andrew without ruining our friendship or getting on each other’s nerves or anything nuts like that
2. It will be stressful but I think I can handle living on my own
3. I don’t really care where it is, as long as it’s with these people.
Hey dudes! It’s been a few days and I haven’t taken many pictures/recorded many videos recently, mostly because we’re all settled down in San Diego and haven’t been doing anything too nuts. We’ve mostly been working on props and costumes for Comicon and also working on videos for our group project/youtube thingy that’s going to be launching soon! Hey everybody! I am now living in San Diego for the month with Aubrey, Zack, and Andrew! We flew to Oregon (where Zack lives), stayed for 2 days, and then had a 16+ hour road trip down to San Diego! We got in the day before yesterday and spent most of yesterday grocery shopping. Here’s some highlights over the past couple of days, videos coming soon:

So like…do you dudes want v-necks or what? Another mockup just to see what the viewers of the johnman are into. I only used black purple and blue because I’m pretty sure they’re the most popular colors. I’m going to make a video soon asking people the same thing so I’ll have a better idea of what people think when I get more input. Either way:

I’m really happy with it! I think I’m starting to understand shading more. I know the shadows could be even bigger, but compared to when I had just started drawing again, I’m doing so much better! Also, check out that transformation! This was my first drawing of misses bigfoot and I made it in NOVEMBER!? of last year. Crazy.
After showing off the new shirt design yesterday the reaction it’s received so far is a big fat “YES!!!”. In that case, I need to know what color shirts you guys would wear this on! Leave a comment on which ones you like the most! Keep in mind that I’m willing to change the color of the word bubble if it’ll suit the color of the t-shirt more! Also please leave a comment telling me which other monster you’d like to see on a t-shirt! Zombie groom, chef bigfoot, yeti, twin-tailed siren, teenage vampire, robot, hipster alien, or something else?

If you didn’t notice, the new URL of this website is JohnJSalomone.com! Dudeneedaeaseonup.com still redirects to it, but eventually I’ll be changing the layout of this website to match the new URL. In moving everything from one server to the other, almost all of my information was lost, and I spent all of today manually re-building my website under a new host. I restored a good chunk of the old posts, but not all of them. Oh well! It’s good to start fresh. Here’s what I’ve been working on since the site’s been down:
